Piacenza is a city and comune in the Emilia-Romagna region, northern Italy. It is close to MIlan and it is the capital of the province of Piacenza. It has a rich history, hosts two Universities, and offers many interesting sights, such as Palazzo Comunale, Palazzo Farnese, Palazzo Scotti, and Piazza Cavalli.
