• Strawberry Picking at Mishima Izu Fruit Park: Begin your day with a delightful strawberry-picking experience at Mishima Izu Fruit Park in Izu Nagaoka. Renowned for its ideal climate and pristine waters, Izu is a prime location for growing exceptionally sweet and juicy strawberries. During the strawberry season from January to May, indulge in a 30-minute unlimited picking and tasting session, enjoying the best varieties of strawberries.
• Relaxation at Shuzenji Onsen: After your fruity start, head to Shuzenji, a historic onsen resort in Shizuoka's Izu Peninsula. Immerse yourself in the natural hot springs, known for their therapeutic properties, and savor a meal of traditional Japanese cuisine. This tranquil setting allows you to unwind and enjoy the area's serenity.
• Cherry Blossom Viewing: Finally, cap off your day with a visit to the cherry blossoms. From February 5th to February 29th, witness the Kawazu Sakura Festival, where you can enjoy some of the earliest cherry blossoms in Eastern Japan. From March 1st to April 9th, explore Sakura no Sato and the Jozaki Coast, where approximately 1,500 cherry trees bloom, and the Kado Suspension Bridge offers breathtaking views of the rugged coastline.
